He is survived by: his mother Rose; his stepfather Bill; his father Melvin Sr.; his sisters, Sharissa, Ashlee and Tosha; his stepsiblings, Jamal and Nick; his nephews, Jaden, Carter, Mason, Jacob, David, Owen, Alexander, Kameron and Ryan; and his niece Kaylynn.

He donated his organs to 5 separate recipients!
