Leroy Matkin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Matkin (Thornton, Colorado), who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Matkin and Nonie Matkin (Wallingsford); and his siblings, James, Bill, Rita and Ruby.

He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Mae Silliman; his brother Victor Matkin of Chidester, Arkansas; his children, Peggy "Sue" Suiter (John Suiter) of Basin, Wyoming, Rodney Matkin (Diana) of Northglenn, Colorado and Cassie Johnson (Michael Johnson) of Moody, Texas; his grandson Brett Suiter (Lindsay Suiter); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Elijah, Lanee and Emily; his granddaughters, Natasha Trout (Al Trout), Jessica Trippe (Ryan Trippe) and Shawna Pellman (Damon Pellman); his great grandchild Ryker; his granddaughter Jenna Smith (Gregory Smith); his great grandchild Ethan; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Matkin, Samuel Matkin and Aaron Johnson; and also Addi Mae. He is also survived by his children, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
