She was predeceased by: her parents, Otomatsu Nakayama and Tamiye Nakayama; her grandparents, Jo and Tom; her husband Hatsuo Tom Shioji; her siblings, Ayako Kusuno, Yoshiko Inouye, Shizuye Fujimoto, Tom Nakayama, George Nakayama, Jane Hada and Amy Konishi; her siblings-in-law, Hatsuko Edna Kurita and Frank Y. Shioji; and her son-in-law Ken Notari.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Notari, Cathy Shioji, Jan Shioji and Dave Shioji; her grandchildren, Kristofer Notari, Tamiye Burlingame and Sachiko Burlingame (Liam Adair); and also Al Peters. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
