We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 65, John A. Stoelting of Thornton, Colorado, born in Orleans, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Marion and Veronica Regina Stoelting (Backes); and his former wife Andrea LeeAnn Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hamilton (Merrell) of Thornton, Colorado; his children, Zackary Seyler-Stoelting and Schenae Stoelting of Commerce City; his stepchildren, Melissa Wolf (Thomas) of Broomfield, Colorado and Christopher Hamilton of Thornton, Colorado; his daughter-in-law Kendall DeCarlo of Littleton, Colorado; his grandchildren, Savannah Wolf and Harper Hamilton; his siblings, Carolyn Stoelting of Stamford, Nebraska, Jim Stoelting (Jill) of Orleans and Gary Stoelting of Orleans; and his siblings-in-law, Sheri Fischer of North Platte, Nebraska, Sandra Wheeler of Lincoln, Nebraska, Kimberly Duvenhorst (Peter) of Levitown, Jennifer Wilson (Darin) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Martin Fischer of Sutherland, Nebraska, Stephen Merrell (Talane) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, John Merrell (Shawna) of Quinlan, Texas, Michael Merrell (Julie) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Patrick Merrell (Deann) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Kelly Merrell (Shelly) of Kathleen, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial has been established in John's honor, and kindly suggested to the Orleans Fire and Rescue.
