Gilbert Marvin Blazon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 87, Gilbert Marvin Blazon (Thornton, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Blazon and Frances Blazon (Cortez); his son Gilbert Marvin Blazon Jr.; his brother Joseph L Blazon; and his niece Bonnie Blazon.
He is survived by: his children, Rudy Padilla (Julia), Eleanor Siskar (Joe) and Barbara Hilfiker (Dan); and his siblings, Leroy Blazon (Margaret), Theresa Yellowhorse (Joe), Henry Blazon (Esther), Frank (Patti), Gladys Perez (Tony) and Jerome Blazon (Connie). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 19 nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - North Metro/Thornton (9998 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (9371 Wigham St, Thornton, CO 80229). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236). A reception will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (9371 Wigham St, Thornton, CO 80229).
