I have fond memories of Don's cadet room in Company F-1 serving as a "sanctuary" for his plebe classmates to escape upperclassmen. In later years Don often participated in class reunions, memorial ceremonies, and activities such as the F-1 cruise in 2012.. Don was a great friend, a true gentleman, and an upstanding citizen. He is missed.”
