He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Jessen (Hice) and Sharol Jessen; his former wife Kim Jessen; his parents-in-law, Donald Riddle, Jim Ringgaard and Laverne Riddle; and his siblings-in-law, Candance Wolf (Candy) and Dennis Hansen.

He is survived by: his wife Shawn Jessen of Thornton, CO; his daughters, Kristin Jessen, Brandy Jessen and Amber Kajfosz (Andrew); his stepsons, Brandon Dreher (Danielle) and Ryan Dreher; his grandchildren, Jenna, Kylie, Noah and Hunter; his stepgrandchildren, Isabel and Jack; and his brothers, Russel Jessen (Elaine) and Brad Jessen (Kristina) of Redfield, SD. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, sister and brother in laws, mother in laws, nieces, and nephews.
