She is survived by: her siblings, Ellen Hopson (Ben), Jan Hejl (Kent) and Brian Nusbaum; her children, Doug Peterson, Bethany Wellbrock, Michelle Dawson (Paul) and Matthew Peterson (Trisha); and her grandchildren, Thomas'TJ', Jayden, Jordyn Wellbrock and Cooper Peterson.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the lymphoma and leukemia society.

“To all of Carol's family! I knew Carol at Public Service Company/Xcel Energy for a lot of years. When she retired, Carol traveled with the Pioneers Club along with my husband and I. We had so much fun with her on those trips. Carol was a fun lady and I always enjoyed getting together with her for various retired lady lunches, too. She will be missed.
