Ruth Lavone Peters Obituary

Ruth lived most of her life in Stratton where she was born at home and raised with her two brothers Bill and Bob Fehrenbach. She loved the small-town atmosphere and enjoyed visiting her friends at the local coffee shop on a daily basis. Her favorite pastimes in later years were watching John Wayne or Gunsmoke shows and tapping her foot to country western music and polkas on tv. Ruth had a big heart and a deep loyalty and love for family and friends. Her spicy personality kept her going for all of her 96 years.

Ruth passed away peacefully at Grace Manor Care Center in Burlington, CO on March 30, 2024.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Edith and Leonard Fehrenbach, her husband Elmer Peters and her brother William Fehrenbach.

Ruth is survived by her two children Ruthie Yeager and Walter Robertson, her brother Robert Fehrenbach, Sister-in -law Karen Fehrenbach, Nieces Tanya Estrada and Stacy Kaliher and nephews Todd Fehrenbach and Robert Fehrenbach.
