Henry S. Mauck Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry S. Mauck (Strasburg, Colorado), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Henry S. Mauck to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip A. Mauck and Bessie Fern Mauck (Holmes); his wife Esther Nicks; his children, Johnny Lee and Joan Bostic; his grandson Evan Mauck; his siblings, Marjorie McKinney, Phyllis Mae Mauck and Kenton; and his siblings-in-law, Argyle Mauck, Bob McKinney, Arlen Treaster and Glen Applegate.

He is survived by: his children, Henry Sherman, Jr. (Jodi), Janet Nienhuser (James) and Susan Conway (Darrell) of Elba, NE; his son-in-law Rick Bostic; his siblings, Kenneth, Melba Treaster and Elaine Applegate; his siblings-in-law, Irene Dole (Harold), Juanita Gordon (Bill) and Delbert Nicks (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Nunzy Koperski (Tom), Renae Lewandowski (Ryan), Nicholas Olesen (Kelly), April Rapp, Samantha Holt (Tom), Jason Rapp, Jared Mauck, Janice Roberts (Isaac) and Jessie Nienhuser. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren (plus one on the way); 19 nieces and nephews and many great- nieces and nephews.

Henry Sherman Mauck, 89, was born February 2, 1931 in Reno County, Kansas to Phillip A. and Bessie Fern (Holmes) Mauck and departed this life April 28, 2020, in Brush, Colorado, from complications related to Parkinson's and coronavirus.
