He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee Boyd and Minnie Emma Elizabeth Boyd; his son Steven Boyd; and his siblings, Johnny, Della Maye, Opal, Charlie, Roy and Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; and his children, Linda Hall, Beverly Quall and Mark Boyd. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
