We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2022, Elsie Bates of Strasburg, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Janda and Elsie Janda; and her siblings, Vi Lackey, Pearl Linde, Dale Janda and David Janda.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Bates; and her children, Charles Bates (Cheryl) and Cheryl Hartzer (Ron). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Elaine's name to The Journey Church, PO Box 503, Strasburg, CO 80136.
