He was predeceased by: his son Michael Tompkins; his grandparents, Rufus Tompkins and Evelyn Tompkins; his uncle Gene Tompkins; his aunt Mavis Tompkins; his grandparents, Wendelin Unrein and Opal Unrein; his uncle Alvin Farner; his sister Debbie Tompkins; his uncles, Donald Unrein and Larry Unrein (Shirley); his son-in-law James Moreno; his mother-in-law Jewell Fredelake; and his brother-in-law Don Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Tompkins; his parents, Louise Tompkins and Guy Tompkins; his children, Monica Perry (Dustin), Ray Love, Sandra Love, Catalina Tompkins and Malachi Tompkins; his nieces, Patsy Streit (Jacob), Jazmin Fredelake, Kyley Floyd and Reign Sitzman; his aunts and uncles, Georgee (Glen), Ginny (Alven), Jenny (John), Peggy, Bob (Merna), Dick (Dorothy) and Charlene Unrein; his brother Ron Tompkins; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Needham and David Compton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
