He is survived by: his sons, Troy (Judy), Dan (Amy), James (Megan) and Rick (Angela); his grandchildren, Emilie Milton (Derek), Allie Bettinger (Olivia), Daniel Bettinger, Helen Bettinger (Mike Rossell), Isabella Montavon (Jesse), Luke Bettinger, Benjamin Bettinger, Marian Martin (Nathan), Peter Bettinger, Henry Bettinger, Joe Bettinger and Abigail Bettinger; and his great grandchildren, Esme Milton and Eleanor Martin.
