He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Aldrich (Lorna); and his daughter Joyce Lobato. He is survived by: his children, John Kerschner and Judy Grauberger (Tim); his son-in-law Dan Lobato; his stepdaughters, Terry Syslo and Lisa Meador; his grandchildren, Richard Grauberger (Elena), Roy Grauberger (Kenzi) and Alicia Couch (Austin); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Kerschner and Kaye Aldrich.

Contributions may be made in Richard's name to the Willard United Methodist Church.
