He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schlueter and Anita Wilkins; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Gloria, Darlene, Gwendolyn, Marjorie, Ernest, Adolf, Vernon, Harold and Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Carol Schlueter and Laura Haile; his grandchildren, Justin Dugan (Tamara) of Sterling and Cassie Phelps (Ethan) of Sterling; his great grandchildren, Memphis, Stella and Myles; his brother Arnold Schlueter of Farmington, N. M; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Amen of Sterling and Jeanne Crouch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Halouska Family Chaney-Reager Funeral Home (443 S 2nd St, Sterling, CO 80751). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (732 Clark St, Sterling, CO 80751).
