He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Maier and Irene Maier (Gelroth); his siblings, Pat Lainer, Cathy Peters and Jim Maier; his grandson Michael Maier; and his mother-in-law Marie Simon.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Simon; his sons, Paul M. (Cynthia), David W. (Stacy) and Jason J. Maier; his grandchildren, Taylor Maier (Kori), Kelley Oxendine (Shane) and Madison Maier; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Mason.
