She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bettger and Leona Bettger; her husband Mel; her brothers, Mel, Gil and Duane Bettger; and her granddaughter Amber Penner.

She is survived by: her brother Larry Bettger of Sterling; her sons, Dave (Pat) and Troy (Chris); her grandsons, Eric (Aimé) and Kevin (Allie); her great grandchildren, Amber, Audrey and Aurora; her stepgrandchildren, Robert, Aaron (Megan), April and Tina; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Robby, Kaarina, Rachel, Joslynn and Alaina.
