She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Schuler and Marguerite Schuler (Artz); her husband George Bowin; her stepdaughter Cheryl Holley; her stepgrandson Austin Lancaster; her siblings, Thomas, Richard, Steven Schuler and Mildred Deibert; and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Schuler (Korb).
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Daryl Bowin (Annette) of Akron, CO, Karen Bryant (Eddie) of Archie, MO and Martin Bowin of Loveland, CO; her stepgrandchildren, Andy, Dallas Bowin, Amber Olson, William Bo Holley, Amy Zimmerman, Jessica Whalen, Jennifer Appleton and Jake Bowin; her siblings, Harold Schuler (Jan) of Kinsale, VA, Mary Richards (Charles) of Cook, MN, Irene Meier (Jack) of Hastings, MN, Linda Nyquist (Gary) of Crossville, TN, Ellen Erickson (Stanford) of Grand Forks, ND and Patricia Nygaard of Shoreview, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Marcia Schuler (Sidener) of Bismarck, ND and James Deibert of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by 21 step-great-grandchildren.
She was active in her community and enjoyed baking pies by the dozen for church, school, and other charity events.
