It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Bailey (Sterling, Colorado), born in Bristow, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard LaRoy and Genevieve Batrum (Riggs); her husband Gilbert N. Bailey; and her granddaughter Jennifer Kay Franson Henderson. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Smith of Evergreen, CO, Karen Loew of Port Huron, MI and Debra Bailey of Snyder, CO; and her grandchildren, Troy Smith of Yuma, AZ, Tom Smith of Evergreen, CO, James Franson of Bushton, KS and Allison Loew of Rotterdam, NY. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Margaret Ann Bailey Memorial Fund which will be used to assist the active commissioned minister at the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan to further her education.
