He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Barnett and Phyllis Barnett; his wife Jane Steele; his siblings, Lawrence, Mary Cox and Barbara Jacobs; and his stepson Les Steele.
He is survived by: his siblings, John and Barb; his friend Patsy Shields of Haxtun; his brother Jon Barnett (Virginia Barnett) of Augusta Kansas; his children, Doug Barnett (Stella Carlson) of Fort Morgan, Don Barnett (Antonette Barnett) of Columbus, NE, Dave Barnett (Barb Barnett) of Greeley, CO and Deb Senseney (Bill Senseney) of Orchard, CO; and his stepchildren, Gene, Randy, Gary, Marge, Hal and Jim. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, 20 step grandchildren, 39 step great grand children and 12 step great-great grandchildren.
