It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Irene DeSoto of Sterling, Colorado, born in Iliff, Colorado, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Stieb and Rose Stieb (Sommers); her siblings, Cecilia Pyle, Francis Scifres and Sylvester Stieb; and her great grandchild Gracie Thompson-Short.
She is survived by: her husband Donald J. DeSoto; her children, Nick DeSoto (Carolee), LaDonna Short (Dan) and Doug DeSoto (Kathy); her grandchildren, Kelly Gamble (James), Kim DeSoto (Kyle Scott), Victor Short (Laura Thompson), Zach Short (Allie Hammond), Alyse Knust (Kyle) and Dom DeSoto (Leah Lumabi); her great grandchildren, Lily Gamble, Keagen, Calvin Knust and Miles Thompson-Short; and her sister Alice Ball. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
