It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Mae Greene of Sterling, Colorado, born in Grand Junction, Colorado, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Leroy and Betty Marie McGee (Hodson); her siblings, Calista Ellen McGee, Charles, Edwin and Thomas; and her sons, Vance Edward Smith and Danny James Greene.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Greene of Sterling; her daughters, Dana May (Ryder) of Sterling, Lanette Cottier (Michael) of Sidney, NE and Melinda Strobel (Roland) of Sterling; and her grandchildren, Patrick Grate, Laurianna May, Cyntera May-Schellenger (Corey), Kayla McFarland, Destiny De Costa (Sam), Lauren Bergner, Dalton Larson, Danni Larson, Devon Strobel, Roland Strobel and Lucas Strobel. She is also survived by many brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
After a long fight (hospitalization) to Covid-19, Kathy had her loving husband and nephew by her side.
