He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Verquer (Petramala) and Joe A. Verquer; his wife Marlene Johnson; his son John Alan Verquer; and his brother Joe Verquer Jr. (Marlene Verquer).
He is survived by: his former wife F. Kay Sneath; his daughter Brenda S. Robbins of Monroe, NC; his siblings, Mike Verquer (Cathy) of Pleasant Valley, MO and Carylon Verquer of Windsor, CO; and his goddaughter Julia Starsota of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
