He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo "Doodle" Doris and Nellie Doris (Wallace); his former wife Kathleen Doris; his children, Michael Doris and Kerrie Horsfall; his grandchildren, Susan, Jordan Doris and Maegan Sculley; his mother-in-law Hazel Smith; his brother Carl Smith; his sister-in-law Peggy Alcott; and his pet Keshia.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Doris of Sterling; his children, Larry (Suzie), Phil Horsfall of Great Bend, Bobby (Amanda Sculley) and Ellen (Brett Belmeyer); his siblings, Keith (Shelley Doris), Linda Schmalzried of McPherson, Paul (Loretta Smith) and Jim (Juanita Pyle); and his grandchildren, Levi, Brooke Doris, Kathleen, Seth Chancellor, Ian Doris, Laura, Nelson Martinez, Kristin, Raul Rocha, Makenna Sculley, Autumn Grennell, Bobbi Sculley, Johnathan Sculley and Matthew Shephard. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chaney-Reager Funeral Home and Crematory (443 S 2nd St, Sterling, CO 80751).
