He was predeceased by: his parents, Hank Schaffer and Sally Schaffer; and his son Henry David. He is survived by: his son Dustin Schaffer of Phoenix; his sisters, Cindy Blair of Dallas and Cathy Schaffer (Tracy) of Royse City; and his nieces, Brittany Mixon (Josh) of Dallas, Kimberly Buechler (Bobby) and Orting.
