He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Haynes (Noren) and Clyde W. Haynes; and his siblings, Carroll, Wilmer, Harold, Ronald, Garry, Larry, Ruby Roberts and Vivian Howland.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Meyer; his children, Clydine Marie (Ed), Donny Dwayne, Gerald "Dean" Jr. Gerald, Donna Mastriona and Dean Haynes (Tina Zimmerman); his grandchildren, Brett Stevens, Cory Morganfield (Brian), Megan Marder (Dan), Sheri LePore and Adam Steinbach; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Connor, Ashlyn Morganfield, Joey, Timmy LePore and Bryce Ciprianni; and his siblings, Delbert Haynes, Helen Einspahr, Charlotte Pate and Marilyn Kirkwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He and Leona hosted the annual Haynes reunion for many years until this year when Covid forced the cancellation.
