It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fonda Birgenheier of Sterling, Colorado, born in Bison, Kansas, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Scheuerman and Freida Scheuerman (Fiene); her husband Alvin Birgenheier; her siblings, Robert, Larry Scheuerman and Katherine Webb; and her parents-in-law, Adam and Anna Birgenheier.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Simants (Fred) of Sterling, Ronald Birgenheier (Lee) of Fort Collins, Lonnie Birgenheier (Annette) of Sterling, Lana Anderson (Scott) of Nashville, NC, Tamara Jackson (Oliver) of Lansing, KS, Scott Birgenheier of Cache, OK, Michael Birgenheier of Sterling and Becky McDermott (Greg) of Aurora. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
