Nelson of Sterling, Colorado, born in Phillipsburg, Kansas, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bruning and Gertrude Bruning (Bietz); and her brother Everett Bruning. She is survived by: her spouse Glenn Nelson; her sons, Mark Nelson of Denver, Thor Nelson of Sterling and Eric Nelson of Sterling; her grandchildren, Aaron Nelson (Jennifer) of Rawlins, WY, Abbigail Prather (Shane) of Firestone, CO and Luke Nelson of Longmont, CO; and her siblings, Dale, Stanley Bruning, Virginia Lesser, Sharon Litzenberger and Fern Lang. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
