With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy May Spear of Sterling, Colorado, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mathies and Katherine Mathies; her husband Harold Polly; her former husband Glenn Spear (Pete); and her daughter Carol Josh (Polly).
She is survived by: her son Daniel Polly (Yuma); her son-in-law Daryl Josh; her granddaughter Tiffini Gross (Jason Gross); her great grandchildren, Treylan and Trinitti; her grandson Jared Josh; her great grandchildren, Ashtyn and Avalyn; her son Dale Polly (Kathleen); her grandson Jason Polly (Kathryn); her great grandchildren, Logan and Olivia; her grandson Joshua Polly (Katie); her great grandchildren, Eliana, Mikaila, Zachariah and Josiah; her daughter Cathy Heimann (Ron); her grandchildren, Justin Heimann and Trisha Heimann; and her great grandchildren, Brenden and Kyler. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Akron (202 Birch Ave, Akron, CO 80720).
