Dorothy Ann Dobson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann Dobson of Sterling, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robert, Katherine, Jake Mari, Marie Marostica, Ray Mari, Clarence Mari Jr., Albert Mari, Irene Duffield and Gertie Fogale.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Dobson; her children, Diane Cline (Mike) of Platterville, CO, Mona Maffei (Bob) of Greeley, CO, Dennis Dobson (Tina) of Sterling, CO, Denise Heare (Travis) of Douglas, WY, William Dobson Jr. of Sterling and Derrick Dobson of Sterling; her siblings, Rosie Wright, Babs O'Neal and Rich Mari; and her in-laws, Vic Marostica, Joyce Mari, Hugh O'Neal, Helen Mari, William "Butch" Wright, Alyce Mari, Harold Duffielf and Don Fogale. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (333 S 3rd St, Sterling, CO 80751). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Anthony's Maintenance Fund, Hospice of The Plains, or Sterling Heritage Center Meal Program c/o Tennant Funeral Home, PO Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.
