It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna T. Benker of Sterling, Colorado, born in Grant, Nebraska, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolyn Hornkohl (Rowley) and Wilbur "Bud" Hornkohl; her former husband Gerald Benker; her husband Steve Carver; her son-in-law Loyd Deaver; her nephew Travis Williams; her grandchildren, Teresa and Loyd Wayne Deaver; and her niece Brenda Hornkohl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Dee of Sterling, CO, Kristina Glaze of Kalama, WA and Amanda Benker of Fort Collins, CO; and her brother Dale Hornkohl of Ogallala, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
