He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Smith and Elizabeth Edith Smith (Bruce); and his siblings, Winifred Maxine Ahrens (Kenneth), Shirley Jane Higer (George), Sharon Louise Smith, Elvan LeRoy Smith and Duane A. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Krakow; his daughters, Tresa Brenckle (Roger) of Fort Collins, CO and Wendi Herrick of Greeley, CO; his grandchildren, Shelby Herrick of Loveland, CO and Tanner Herrick (Emilee) of Lansdale, PA; and his brother Kenyard Smith (Norine) of Montana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be made to the local Humane Society and/or local VFW-American Legion and/or a heartfelt charity of his, Wounded Warriors Colorado chapter.
