She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hook and Bernice Hook (Hass); her husband Michael Paston; her grandparents, Andrew, Elizabeth Hook, Pete and Freida "Reka" Hass; her sister-in-law Sharon Hook; and her brother Dwayne Hook.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Steele (Brandon); her grandchildren, Addison Steele and Grayson Steele; and her brothers, Dick Hook (Sandy), Larry Hook (Sharon) and Ed Hook. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
