He was predeceased by: his stepfather Dick Degenhart; and his nephew Josh Lawson. He is survived by: his parents, James Leo Shepard and Mary Katherine Shepard (Carter); his brother Bill; his daughters, Lindsey and Erica; his close friends, Roger and Rhonda Modrell; and his pet Rusty.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (321 Ash St, Sterling, CO 80751).
