We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2022, at the age of 84, Richard Gloor Jr. of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pat; his children, Rich (Maureen) of Western Springs, IL and Beth Shuter (Kris) of Centennial, CO.; his grandchildren, Jack, Dylan, Charlie, Luke and Avery; his siblings, Pat Gloor (Mary) of Lake Forest, IL and Penny Hahs (Craig) of Sikeston, MO.; his nephews, David, Andy, Bill, Hank and Jake; his niece Amanda; and his parents, Margery Patterson Gloor and Albert R. Gloor. He was also cherished by his family and his many, many friends.
He was Secretary of The Oak Park Development Corporation and was a director of the Oak Park Community Foundation, as well as the Ernest Hemingway Foundation.
