She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frederick R. Nichols; her children, Betty Ann Gildea (Christopher) of Annapolis, Maryland, Janice Nichols of Alexandria, Virginia, David Utzman-Nichols (Lynn) of Fort Collins, Colorado and Karen Wenning (John) of Cross Plains, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Megan, Elizabeth Gildea, Forest, Evan Utzman-Nichols, Gus, Kate and Oliver Wenning; and her cousin Carol DeFlavis. She was also cherished by her aunts, uncles and cousins as playmates, both uncles.
She looked Alzheimer's in the eye and gave it a knowing nod.
