It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew R. Stengel of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Stengel and Donni Stengel; his sister Casey Stengel-Smith (Jordan Smith); his nieces, Fallon Ann and Teagan Ann Smith; and his grandparents, Francis Stengel and Dr. Robert Stengel (Grandmommie Dian E. Lytle). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
