She was predeceased by: her father German; her husband Samuel C. Brooks, Jr.; and her son James Winfried Brooks. She is survived by: her brother Winfried E. Wesel (Mary); her children, Carroll Brooks (Janie) and Katie Brooks Robertson (Mike); and her grandchildren, Samuel, Phillip, Jacob, Lauren and Benjamin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
