She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bland and Beryl Bland (Bewley); her former husbands, Orval Hiner and Glen Green; her grandson Jeffrey Allen Dorsey; her siblings, Alden Bland, Harold Bland, Larry Bland and Linda Bland; her son-in-law Ron Medley; and her close friend Bill Greathouse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Medley of Cortez, CO and Kay Dorsey (Ray) of Kenai, AK; her grandchildren, Amy Strunk (Leif) of Springfield, CO, Heather Hamilton (John) of Cortez, CO, Lisa Salzbrenner (JR), Julie Craig (Jason) of Soldotna, AK and James "Erik" Dorsey of Kenai, AK; and her great grandchildren, Brody Strunk of Leipzig, Spencer Strunk of Pueblo, CO, Conner Salzbrenner, Taylor Salzbrenner of Cortez, CO, Jasmyn Foust of Kenai, AK, Austin Craig (Aurora) of Anchorage, AK, Tanner Craig of Phoenix, AZ, Logan Craig of Soldotna, AK and Tehya Craig of Sterling, AK.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maltbie Funeral Services (265 W 8th Ave, Springfield, CO 81073). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Maltbie Funeral Services (265 W 8th Ave, Springfield, CO 81073).
