He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Macie; his wife DeAnna Pratt; his daughters, Tyne Pratt and Kira Pratt; and his granddaughter Johnna.
Tye fell ill with covid in December 2020, landing him a long stay in the hospital. He fought the odds and beat covid but developed a heart condition from the illness.
