She was predeceased by: her parents, Catarina Gonzales (Katie) and Joe P. Gonzales, Sr.; her father-in-law Regino Diaz; her husband Herman Diaz; her mother-in-law Anita Diaz; and her sisters, Marie Martinez and Marty Cabral.
She is survived by: her niece Ashley Escamilla; her children, Rachelle Alves of Severance and Chris Diaz of Windsor; her grandchildren, Sammy Diaz, Brielle Diaz and Sofia Alves; her siblings, Ramona Martinez of Greeley, Alberta Rossman of LaSalle, Della Rangel of Evans, Porfie Gonzales of Evans, Joe P. Gonzales, Jr. of Evans, Phillip Torres of Aurora and Pete Gonzales (Sapoa) of Greeley; and her children-in-law, Alex Alves and Jennifer Roth.
