She was predeceased by: her mother Marie Pickard; her daughter Cynthia Lou; her father Jim Pickard; her siblings, Harold Pickard (Rose), Louis Pickard (Velva), Kenneth Pickard (JoAnn), Velma Hubbell (Ralph) and Leona Edmunds; her parents-in-law, Francis and Hazel McCaffrey; her brothers-in-law, Francis "Junior" McCaffrey (Neva), Darrell McCaffrey (Pauline), Kenneth McCaffrey and Bob McCaffrey; and her granddaughter Megan McCaffrey.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne McCaffrey; her children, Terry McCaffrey (Jackie), Julie Tagtmeyer (Larry), Cindy McCaffrey (Fred Erbert) and Mark McCaffrey (Lori); her grandchildren, Callie Burgess (Ethan), Whitney Richards (Kasey), Tiffany McCaffrey, Landon McCaffrey (Miranda Mitchek), Kylie Wamsley (Craig), Kori Moser (Dustin), Kraig Tagtmeyer, Kaitlyn Richie, Ashlyn Richie, Justin McCaffrey (Kayla), Michael McCaffrey and Alan McCaffrey; her great grandchildren, Asher, Laken Richards, Kashton McCaffrey, Kycen, Kaisley, Keithyn Wamsley, Tenlyn and Landry Moser; and her siblings-in-law, Glen Edmunds (Barb), Ethel McCaffrey and Mary McCaffrey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
After 2 months of living there and Covid-19 restrictions making family visits impossible, Wayne and Fern returned to their home in Seibert.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Community Ambulance Service or Caring Hands Hospice.
