We bid farewell to Sallie M Munson of Sedgwick, Colorado, born in Norphlet, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Sallie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, W. H. Murphy and Maggie Elva Sullivan; her husband Layton Munson; and her grandson Michael McGaughey. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Cobourn (Rich) of Powell, WY., Shirley Salyards of Sedgwick, CO., Joan Salyards (Darrel) of Cheyenne, WY., Janet McGaughey (Jim Long) of La Junta, CO. and Swain Munson of Sedgwick, CO; and her brother-in-law Charles Bales of Arkansas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Sedgwick County Nursing Home or the Sedgwick Presbyterian Church.
