She was predeceased by: her parents, Norris Mussey and Jennie Mussey (Crowfoot); and her sister Josephine Mussey. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Young of Sedgwick, CO; her sister Marian Timpe of Denver, CO; her children, Elaine Gomez of Algona, IA, Reva Hewgley (Bill) and David Young of Sedgwick, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Minor and Emil Sand. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many great friends.
