She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane Speirs (Agnew) and Charles Wilson Speirs; and her husband Robert Rickard (Bob). She is survived by: her brother Charles H. Speirs; and her children, Paula, Gail and David. She is also survived by one grandson, five granddaughters, and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her good name to Good Shepherd U.M. Church.
