Sharon Sowards Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2023, at the age of 84, Sharon Sowards of Sanford, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Birl Gilbert Reed and LaVina Marvelle Reynolds Reed; her husband Larry; her son Scott; and her siblings, Calvin Reed, Gordon Reed, LaVerne Williams and Beverly Powell.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Cerny (Keith) of Alamosa, Bryan Sowards (Terese) of Alamosa, Lori Sowards of Pleasant Grove, UT and Kirk Sowards of Manassa, CO; her siblings, Leon Reed (Kathy) of Thornton, CO, Ross Reed (Donna) of St. Louis and Van Reed (Claire) of Loveland, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanne Reed (Carl Hutchins) of Sanford, CO and Bill Powell of Reno, NV. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
