He was predeceased by: his siblings, Albert Ray, Wallace Harold, Arthur Sanford, Myrtle Marie, Jesse Nathaniel, Ernest Wayne and Erma Alice; his son Vernon Jensen Hawkins; and his grandson Benjamin James Pitcher.
He is survived by: his children, Corinne Pitcher Wetaskiwin (Art), Glenda Kortz (Lynn), Ronald (Marianne), Grant (Susan), James (Cindy), Leslie (Janene) and Stan Hawkins St (Jill). He is also survived by 31 Grandchildren and 41 Great Grandchildren.
