He is survived by: his wife Elma "Liz" Mitchell-Ortiz of Sanford, CO; his children, Patti Chacon (David "Flavio") of Denver, CO, Ron Ortiz (Anna Wright) of Ivins, UT, Peter Ortiz of St. George, UT and Albert Ortiz of Albuquerque, NM; and his brother Richard Ortiz of Somers. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many other extended family members and friends.
