He is survived by: his children, Joanne Ortega of New Mexico, Angela Ortega of Utah, Elma Rodriguez (Dan) of Utah, Anna Archuleta (Pat) of New Mexico, Priscilla Schimpf (Henry) of La Jara, Zorro Ortega (Rose) of Utah, Diego Ortega (Sherri) of Arizona, Tony Ruiz (Carlos Ruiz) of New Mexico, Robert Ruiz (Julianna) of New Mexico and Forty. He is also survived by greatgrandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
